Semesters 1 and 3 are mostly the winter ones (October–January), semesters 2 and 4 being usually the summer ones (February–June).

** Optional subjects are taught only if a certain number of students choose them (opt for them). If the number is too low, the subjects are not taught. This fact is not known (and published) until the very start of the semester, that is at the end of September or at the end of January. (If Erasmus students have these subjects in their study plans, they risk that those courses may not be taught and therefore they will have to alter their study agreement after arrival in Prague.)
